I felt that Oscar deserved his own spot. So here is the rest of the day.

The morning, as usual, was full. I left for Bible Study at 9AM. We had a good group. We finished reviewing the Introduction of the Gospel of Mark. Learned a lot about how it was written tying all back to the Old Testament and the symbolism involved.

Then I went over to Mom's. She is doing fine. We are hoping that after a week or two of the iron pills, she will get a little energy back. Tomorrow, she and I will be going to the funeral of Myrna Drossel, a neighbor from the Pinehurst Court neighborhood where I grew up. Myrna was a good neighbor and a good friend and card playing buddy of Mom's until she had to go to a nursing home and her memory declined. I wanted to go to the Mass and will be able to escort Mom.

I took Oscar at 2PM.

Then tonight was the Rhine Plymouth monthly meeting. It went very fast and we have 13 new members. Wow, is that a wonder and will be such a help.

I am not too inventive tonight because I am tired and very sad. I hope Roxie doesn't get too lonely. I remember how sad Waylon got when we had to take Taco and Bell in.

Be happy and if you have animals give them extra hugs tonight.

Love

Mary
