Got to be home almost all day.

I did go to church this evening.   It was a nice Mass.   I was the reader today.   I do like to be an active part of the Mass.  The readings were really good today too.   All about God providing for us, especially spiritual food.

I did a lot of work in the house today too.  And some things with Mom's papers so that Jeff and Randy and I can get things taken care of tomorrow.   _I HOPE>

There is so much in this house.   I am just taking one section at a time.   Trying not to project what is still ahead.

My foot feels much better.    On Tuesday, I get out of this dumb strappy shoe thing.   Boy will that be a relief.   I think I would be getting better support from my tennies.

What a day.   A whole day at home.   BUT the painter, Dan, came at 8AM and got right to work.   I spent most of the morning working on centralizing things that I want to keep and/or think our kids might  want.

Then this afternoon, Jeff and I discussed and got organized the last few things that still have to be taken care of for Mom's estate.

It rained most of the day.  I hope it will green up the lawns in the condo.   It sure is going to help my plants and the berms.

I am going to sort the art this weekend.  I will try to take pictures of the items that I do not plan on taking with me.    Perhaps some of you would like them.

Jim - if you read this.  Do you want the pooping longhorn and/or the pirate stuff that you bought for your Dad?   Also the things from his office,  eg seagull, owl.   You probably saw them more than anybody.

Anybody else,   Just step up.  First come, first served.

Today turned  out to be a marathon.   I met Dan, my painter, at Sherwin Williams to pick out the paint color for the house.    He and his crew will start at 8AM tomorrow morning.  So I have to get up at 6AM.  Nicky will love that.

I then went and got the car washed.  I have never been to Magic Car wash when it was SO SLOW.  But at least it is done.

Then I drove to Meadow View to drop something off and say good by to some of my friends there.  I will miss those little people, but can't keep going.  I will go to see Harriet before I leave.  She is an old family friend and was so good to Mom while she was there.

Left there for Joan Kramer's for a reflexology treatment. Was wonderful, but my left hip started aching halfway through.   I actually woke me up from the nicest meditation.  Joan worked most of it out and helped me ice it down.

Then home again, Nicky and I went to have a glass of wine at our weekly neighborhood gathering.

I am exhausted and will be in bed soon so I am ready for tomorrow.   Alison is also bringing someone over to see the house.

Whew.

I spent all day packing and distributing THINGS.   I have taken so much down to the wine room for a final eval after all of my kids decide if they want some of them.  I know Leslie.   You want EVERYTHING:)   :).   I have and am separating Kunert things and am distributing SOME of them to whom I think they should go.

Tonight, I went to Pourvino in downtown Plymouth with some of my Tallgrass friends for a light supper and wines.   It was fun.  I NEED to take Richard and Brenda there before I leave.  They have the best veggie appetizers and food and great wines.   Lets plan on a Tuesday,  They sell bottles of wine for half price.

Love you

What a hectic two days.

Yesterday, I went to the funeral of my cousin and my sister Dolores's brother in law, Greg Ziegler.   I REALLY got to know him in choir at St. John's last year.  He had planned his own funeral and wanted the choir to sing so where else could I be.

Today, I had lunch with my friend, Sheila Isackson, who is a Celtic Friend and leaned that my Mom had passed.  She could not come to the funeral and just wanted to be with.  I am blessed with the best friends in the world.

Things are settling down, but each time I think I am done, something else happens.  Please pray for me.

For family,  If there is anything in the house that you have had your eyes on, let me know.  I might be able to be yours!!!!!

Hi

Got lazy for a bit, but back again.    Last night, after Mass, I stopped at Alison's house to pick up boxes.   A mutual friend mentioned that I need them and she gets lots.  Yea.  After we loaded the car, Alison asked if I had plans for dinner.   I did not, so we went to Sweet Basil to eat and talk about listing the condo.

We split an order of Portabella Mushroom and got salads.   They were SO good.

Today Alison came over to look at the house and advise me as to how to prepare for listing.   I have a lot to do of course and will not list until the painting is done,   However, Alison is suggesting that I list at $178,900.   I am pleased with that number, it will bet me where I have to go.   (I know that it possibly/probably will go for less, but that is in my mind also. and will work.)

I have the "assignment" of clearing all the walls and knickknacks and packing them before we show the place.    One and done.  I have been told to touch each thing only once.   If there is anything anybody wants, let me know.   If I think you might want something, I will put it aside.   I will have four boxes instead of the three : dispose, save, donate.  The fourth will be Maybe you guys want it.

Now that I can see my path, I am eager to follow it.
