A busy morning.   I saw Dr. Toy at 9:30AM.   He says I am coming together and actually I am feeling less joint pain.

Then at noon, I went to Aspen Dentist to have my permanent crown put in. That was painless and easy so now I am done with dentists until my next cleaning.

The rest of the day was quiet.   Barbara is not feeling well.  Please pray for her.

I will spend the weekend getting ready for my reading of the Proclamation at the post office in Lawton on Monday.   There may be two people there, there may be none or there may be a crowd.  I did let the press and the TV station know that I am doing it.   I told them that I was not allowed to advertise but that perhaps they might find it interesting:)   This is a trick from my friend, Janet.

Nicky is really enjoying - I am not sure that that is the word - his back yard.   He has discovered that there are two squirrels in one of the elm trees and will spend literally an hour or more sitting there staring up at the tree.

Fresh air is good for him.

I can't find my iron!!!!!

What a beautiful day.   The sun shone.  The temperatures were in the low 80s.

Nicky and I took a couple of walks.  The first this morning was especially nice.  He is used to the people that are out in the morning when we are and does not bark at them.   But somebody new had better watch out because my CHUG is ready to take them on.   It is fun that there are several runners, dog walkers, the kids waiting for their school buses, walkers out when we are cruising.

I planted some more herbs today.  I think I told you I finally found Lavender.  I also bought a Rosemary and Basil plant.   My lawn mower, Nick, says he started some seedlings for me.  I hope they are basil and oregano.  I cannot find parsley or chives anywhere.   Very frustrating.

Now that I am feeling better.   I WILL get a plan. You know that I will.

Bless those that I love and those that I don't love, teach me that there is something in everybody.   I need to love everybody but I don't have to LIKE everybody.

Hi everybody.

A busy day.    I went to Mass at 9AM and then to the bible study group that I am joining.   A large group.   Today they finished a study of the Our Father and next week we start a study of Psalms.   So this is a good time for me to join them.

I had a chiropractor appointment this afternoon so it was a full day.   I am feeling much better, though not completely normal yet.

Called people tonight.  I do that when the evenings get too quiet.  Got to talk to Bret.   He is fine and sounds good.   Then Jim and Michelle returned my call, so we also had a nice visit.  Jim is recovering though there is more surgery and lots of healing to go.   They too sound good.   I am feeling good.   Nice to hear good things from those I love.

Te following is a notice that I sent to my Celtic Friends.  Thought you might enjoy it also

Just to let you know what I am doing here in Oklahoma.    I will miss the book discussion group next month.   Hope to get one started here.   Won't be the same without all of you.
Also I will miss everybody at the CWI International Gathering April 29 - May 2.    Just too close to the move and coming back for a family wedding to be able to travel again.    Have fun for me at both events.

Here is what I am up to:

Guess What! On April 25th, one hundred years and one day, after the start of the Easter Rebellion(which began April 24, 1916) I am going to be reading the Proclamation on the steps of the U S. Post Office on 67th and Gore Avenue in Lawton OK. They say I can read but not advertise except by word of mouth. I figure Facebook is word of mouth.
SO - at 12 Noon on Monday April 25th be at the U. S. Post Office in Lawton to hear a small history and a recitation of the actual Proclamation.
Tell anybody you know in Oklahoma.
Thanks

Warmer and muggy.   It is not HOT, but in the 70s and quite humid.

I am finally feeling better.   Sure wonder where this dry hot air is that will make my arthritic joints feel healed?

I called the post office today and informed them that I WILL be reading the 1916 Irish Rising Proclamation on their steps on Monday 4/15 at noon.   They said I can but I cannot advertise.  So I am making the few people that I know aware of it and hope that noon at the Post office is busy.   I had to promise not to bring the rebels with me:)

I had to switch from the Center for Creative Living.  They backed out on me feeling that they were putting too much into an event that might be better attended if I had a group organized.   THIS WAS A WAY I WAS HOPING TO GET A GROUP STARTED!!!   They are still willing to let me start a Celtic group in their facility so I am not angry, just disappointed that we couldn't start off with the bang I had hoped.

Tomorrow I hope to meet my future Bible Study companions.
