A whole day at home.  Got a couple of calls and a friend stopped by so I was not too lonely.

Thought I would share a poem I wrote with you.    I am finally STARTING to write again but it is still slow and intermittant.


But here is my poem.

Robin

When I see my robin
In the back yard
Under the elm tree
I feel alive again.

In the back yard
He gleans the ground for worms
I feel alive again
And so must he.

He gleans the ground for worms
The sun shines despite the cold
And so must he
Feel the warmth through all

The sun shines despite the cold
I intend to to so often
And so must he
When I see my robin.

Just got home from the Good Friday night service.   It is a long service but well worth the time.   BUT I am exhausted.   I served as usher too which is a bit wearing.

I can rest all day tomorrow anyway.

Hello.  Home all day.    I was really sore today so didn't do too much but that is OK.    I m taking each day as it comes.    Tomorrow I have two events I want to experience outside of the house.   Hopefully I will be able to do them.     THIS IS A TEST:)

I am going to Adam and Alexia's for Easter and have decided to bring a coconut cream pie.

A busy day.    Went to Bible Study this morning, then Dan came to mow  my lawn this afternoon.

I am really tired.  Hope I sleep tonight.

Just got home from Writer's Club.    There were four of us there so I heard some good things and they liked the poem I read about robins and spring.

Kerry came to clean today and I was busy with bookwork all morning so the day went fast.

A busy day.

Went to two doctors this morning.   Dr. Morgan says my esophogus is looking pretty good but he wants to see me in three months.  Dr. Aiku has recommended two meds to help my pain and help me sleep. 

We will see.

Went to the 8:30AM Mass this morning.    It was a long one:)   Blessing of the Parlms AND a reading of the Passion which is always a long Gospel.    But a nice ceremony, then I wen for coffee afterwards to visit with people.   I really appreciate that they have that on Sundays.   It has introduced me to people and gives me a chance to talk to real human beings.    
Something I don't get in my house.    Nicky is very quiet


The rest of the day was quiet.   I finished one project and took Nicky for a walk, so the day was not lost.
