I sure miss my sweetheart.   I know you all are aware of that.   I do alright because I know that he has never REALLY left me , but I do miss the sound of his voice and those wonderful hugs.

Don't worry about me.   I figure if I can't tell those I love how I feel, WHO do I have  to talk to?

It was a really good day.  Hallmark had their mid year Ornament big sale.  My first big Christmas shopping spree  _way to early I know _ but it is when it is.  The Hallmark store in Lawton is actually within walking distance, (I didn't).   They were very accommodating, so I will not miss my Sheboygan Hallmark too much.

Mary came to clean today also, so I have a sparking house.   I am working on several craft project, which kept me amused for the rest of the day.

Can't believe that it is July already.

A busy morning, a quiet afternoon.

It was cooler today but to me felt hotter because it seemed more humid to me.

I had a doctor appointment.   Just a checkup and review of the tests that I have had done in the past months.   I am just fine.   As Dad would say.   "I am in great shape for the shape I am in."    All of my "ails" are just age related and manageable.   I am so grateful for that.

Did some shopping on the way home.

Nate mowed the lawn this evening and it looks like we will be getting some rain.   Perfect timing.  I heard thunder when I took Nicky out for his walk.

Another HOT HOT Day.   My thermometer reached 100 Degrees without the heat index.     Not much relief for several days.

Thank God, that we have air conditioning these days.   Nicky and I are quite comfortable.

It was a nice day.  I finished pinning the quilt I want to quilt.   Does that make any sense?   I also am working on a crocheted outfit for a Cabbage Patch Doll as I have an out fit for an American Girl doll.

Since I gave an American Girl Doll and A Cabbage Patch Doll to my Step Grand daughters, Adria and Abbie, I can't give an outfit for one doll and not the other.   What have I gotten myself in to.????


So.   Almost time to call it a day.

Heat Heat Heat

Today is supposed to be the coolest day for at least three days.  Tomorrow, the ACTUAL temps will top 100.   Oklahoma.

I was busy at home all day and only left to run a couple of quick errands.

Tomorrow is much more exciting.  Bible Study in the morning.   One thing about Holy Family.  The church is usually COLD.  And I mean cold.   I always bring a jacket into the service, even if it is really hot.

I have the book of prayers in response to the Psalms ready to present to the study for final approval.  Then I will take it to be printed.  We had more than 50% contribute so it is  a good effort. 

I had broccoli/cauliflower soup for supper tonight.  I used all the "leavings" from the broccoli salad that I  fixed for Sunday to make the soup.   Boy is it good.     Just boiled the leavings with onion, added bouillon and then when I dished it up added some sour cream and cheese.  Nummy Nummy in my tummy.

Another hot day.   We did get a bit of rain last night which at least gave the lawns a little drink.

Tim, Amber and little Augie are still at Bart and Barb's.   We had a fry out (of course, Okies don't call it a fry out, but what do they know)   We had brats, hamburgers, hot dogs, German Potato salad, beans, broccoli salad plus desserts and appetizers.   What a spread.   Marlies and Adam and Adria and Abbie  were also there.   Such a great afternoon.   Bart had to pretty much rest as his back was sore.    If he is like me the humidity does a job on him.

Tomorrow will be a quiet day,  I intend to pin a quilt for assembly.  Wish me luck,   That is always a putzy job.
