April Fools Day to you all.    I just got lazy the last two nights.   Nothing exciting happened anyway.

We are having storms again today but nothing with the intensity of those the other day.    Lots of thunder and quite a bit or rain.

Yesterday, the Tree people came and trimmed my Lacebark Elms and the other needed trimming and stump removal that my back yard needed.   Now I just need to fill in a couple of holes with soil and then maintain.   It looks to neat back there.

There is a BIG white cat hanging around my house along with the big yellow one.   They like to hide under the front porch and drive Nicky crazy.

Talked to Tim Doherty, they guy who bought my condo in Tall Grass, today.   He still loves it and I probably will get to see him when I am home.   Less than a week now.   I can hardly wait.  I am gathering up the things I need to take with me.

We did have a big storm last night.   5 inches here in Lawton.    There was a bit of hail but it was small so did no damage.  No tornado warnings, but some areas had flash flood warnings.

Because my yard and trees are so wet, my tree pruner has put off the pruning until  either Saturday or Monday depending on the weather, of course.

Went to Mass and Bible Study. this morning, then Bart and I went to lunch and to the car dealer to have a factory fix on Barb's car.

Had an appointment with Dr. Toy today and I must say, I am feeling much better.   Now that I have added MSM back into my supplements and he has me adjusted it is making such a difference.  The bad storm was not even too uncomfortable:)

Can't believe that I will be in Wisconsin a week from tomorrow

We are under severe storm warnings.    So far just a small smattering of rain.  They are saying possible tornado and/or hail.  Everything is moving north and east.  Hopefully our Wichita Mountains will shield us from tornadoes one more time:)

Tomorrow the tree service people are coming to prune my trees and clean up the rest of the yard.  So I had three different services come to mark where their wires, pipes and conduits are.    Nicky has been frantic.   We don't usually get that many visitors.

None of them had to come in the house, which was almost harder on him.  Especially when he noticed one of them IN the back yard:)

Tomorrow is going to be a run run run run day.    Why does everything have to happen at once?

It was a lovely sunny day in the upper 70s.    I understand we have a chance of severe weather again starting tomorrow.    They keep predicting rain, but it always seems to miss Lawton.   We could really use some too, not the hail and bad winds though.

I saw Dr. Toy today.  He says I am almost back where I should be spine and hip wise.   Good thing as I don't delight in traveling with my joints so sore.   This unsettled weather is certainly contributing too.

I got a bid on pruning my three BIG elm trees in the back yard.   They have not been done for years.   It will be expensive, but he is also removing the stumps from the two trees that were cut down before I moved in and generally policing the perimeter.    After he is done, I should just need maintenance every couple of years or so.  This is making Wednesday a whirl of activity as Bart wants me to go with him to get his car serviced.

Went to the 8:30AM Mass this morning, as usual.   For once I did not have to usher.   I love to do my share but sometimes I come in on a day"off" planning on praying and find that someone did not show up.     Wouldn't like to be in their shoes when they reach the gates of heaven:)  :)

After mass visited with Pam and Robbie and a couple of others at the social.   Good thing.   Did not hear from another soul today.   I did call Aunt Kathleen and we are meeting for lunch while I am in Wisconsin.   She is a special lady.   AND I am proud to say, My Godmother.

Only a week and a half until I am in Wisconsin.  I look forward to seeing people and places I left behind.    It is hard to relocate.   I have done it before, so don't think that I am complaining.  It is just that after one becomes settled, one forgets the "growing pains."
