A gorgeous sunny day topping off at 62 degrees which is quite comfortable.    Vita and I took two walks today.     She and I like that.

I did some shopping this morning for a list of things that I needed as I hate to shop and waited until there WAS a list.     Found everything.

Bart and Barb stopped by this afternoon,   My Chinese New Year card from Bing was sent to their address.   I will let Stenn and Bing know my address.    Guess I missed that last year.    Love being remembered and loved.

A red letter day.     It was warm this afternoon so when I took Miss Vita out for a walk, we went clear around the block.    Wow.    Weather holding we both will be in good shape.

Was home all day.  Did all my wash and folded and put away.

Made an appointment to have my carpet cleaned next Thursday.    So I will have to prepare for that.    At least I care about things again.   Yee Haw.

I DID get to stay home all day today.     Was sure nice and Miss Vita always liked it.

I am starting to have tax stuff dribble in and have gone through my receipts for 2019 to get rid of the stuff I don't need.

It was not TOO cold, so Vita and I went for a couple of short walks.    She much prefers doing her business while we are walking, much as Nicky did.    I think it gets her inner self moving:)

Did a bit of editing on my book and a real little bit of sewing.     Want to try to do a poem before I sleep.

Got a nice newsy letter from my cousin,  Fr. Mike Shea, who is a missionary in Thailand that has established an orphanage/home for children with AIDS or who come from parents with AIDS.    Love his letters.    He is a unique individual and I am proud to be related.

I was rather busy today.

Kerry came to clean the house this morning.    Then I did some grocery shopping.

Then tonight went to Writer's Club.     There were four of us there and we had some good readings.    I am reading the revised chapters of my Patron Saints book and sometimes a poem.     We have two novels in the works.    Actually three if Mike comes.    Marti usually has a "story" based on her patients, she is a counselor.       She, of course, does not tell specific stories, but consolidations and summaries.     Very interesting.

So.    I am tired tonight and ready for bed.

The weekend was very quiet.   I went to Mass on Sunday and to coffee after mass to visit but the rest of the time was at home just puttering around.

Today, my friend, Robbi and I went to the hospital to visit a mutual friend, Pam, who is there for abdominal pain that they are trying to figure out.    Pam is a dear.   When I had my cancer surgery, she came to the hospital and visited me as a member of the parish, and she did not even KNOW me.    I have never forgotten this.

The Utility company came today to mark off where the lines are so that they can fix my sewer connection.    Please pray that it will not cost tooooooo much:)  I expect to hear from the company and get an estimate by the end of the week.    I miss my sweetheart.    He took care of all of this stuff.
