Then end of a nice Saturday.    Yesterday, I stayed home all day, even put off shooting and going out to lunch because I have been so busy all week and was just plain sore.

I got a lot done today and have most of tomorrow to continue with the projects.

Went to Mass at 4PM.  My neighbor, Jean, rode with me.    Tomorrow is supposed to be icky and she called to confirm what time Mass was so I told her to just ride with me.    I was a substitute for Eucharistic Minister.   Gave out the host.   I just love giving communion.   I feel such a part of the ceremony.

Got a call this morning from Aunt Kathleen.   She is in Texas and called to tell me that Aunt Mary Ann passed away last night in her sleep.   Kathleen had been able to spend some of the past four days with her and they had wonderful visits but Aunt Mary Ann has been failing the past year or so.  She was married to my Uncle Roman Bowser, Mother's brother, in case you are not that deep into the Bowsers.

So prayers for the cousins, She was so sweet that she would be welcome nowhere but in heaven.

Boy Will I ever be glad when this week is over.   I try to have at least one day without anything on the agenda.   This being retired is really hard.

This week it did not work. Today, at 11:30AM was  the quarterly lunch for the Sheboygan Falls Class of 58.  We met at Firehouse Pizza in Falls.   A nice group, especially for winter.  We do have snow birds and some are cautious about driving.    I had nice visits with my classmates.   Like this idea.\

Then I went grocery shopping.  My next meeting was at 3PM at Dairy State Family restuarant with my friends Janet and Joan about the April Gathering of CWI.    The board meeting is Saturday and they needed an update.

Home again, I tied up a couple of loose ends and am now going to bed.   I am not in a much pain and want to get there before any sets in.

Well, today was busy.   I am sore and tired.   But it was a NICE day.

My cleaning lady was late today because of a personal errand which I understood.   She and I left the house at the same time.   Me for my appointment at Aurora Therapy with Jaren.   He was Dick's therapist too and is helping me strengthen my hip muscles so I don't hurt at nighttime.

I got done there much sooner than I thought I would so went to the car dealer to have a recall taken care of and then to the post office to check the Tallgrass mail before heading to Mequon to meet with my CWI friends Rosemary and Gail to review what I have done for the Gathering and what needs to be done.   I love them but they do get a bit anal.   I was super glad to get their input but was a bit startled by their initial presentation.  I had some difficulty telling them what I have done and letting them know that I am on things.  But we ended up on the same page.

I got home at about 4PM and have not done much since.   I feel I put in a full day.

Tomorrow I am having lunch with my Classmates from 1958 (High School)   then meeting Joan and Janet from CWI to tell them where we are at before the board meeting.

Too much is happening right now.   I think I need to back out of something.   I can tell that I am getting too tired.

Dick must be talking to me.

I got a call from my niece, Vikki.  She is the one who went to New York with me.  Her sister, Rhonda, passed away on Friday.   Poor girl.   I am so glad that she has such wonderful children.   I hope she knows that she can call me any time also.   I am so blessed with my families.   Pray for Rhonda and the family.   She left three lovely daughters and grandchildren.

Snow- Snow- Snow

Will it ever stop.   Poor Nicky is having a terrible time.  It is up to his belly and he cannot bring himself to go to the bathroom.  I cleared a bit of a spot for him and the guys came and shoveled the front of the garage and the walk.   He HAS to go before we go to bed.  I know he is good, but even he has his limits.

I went to mass this morning.  A pretty empty church.  Fr. Dan said that for the first time he is sure that St. Thomas's attendance outdid ours.  I found that the side streets were better plowed than the main ones and had to turn around on the big hill and go around.   But it was safe and I made it there and back without thinking that I had made a mistake.    I am thinking that perhaps we should cancel Bible Study however. I'll send out a feeler.

I will be able to see Mom however.   May have to go in later, but eventually the roads will be cleared and I can get there safely.

Got a rather busy week ahead.   Hope the weather cooperates.   Stenn and Bing were already cancelled on their flight for home today.   Will be anxious to know that they get home safely.   Had such a lovely visit with them.   They like my cookbook.   Makes me feel so good.
