Too many things scheduled today and it was too hot.  We are in the upper 90s and heading for 100s by Saturday.

Started off this morning by going to the Imaging Center on Gore for MRIs of both of my knees.   I just kept telling these people.  "Help me".      My knees (and other joints, but especially knees) are so sore.  I see Dr. Harris early next week when he has the results of the MRIs.   Up until a year ago, walking eased the pain.  This no longer works.    So I know something is really wrong.   The last time this happened, I had a torn meniscus.  This is worse, I fear, because both knees are involved.   Pray for me please.

After that appointment, I had my carpets cleaned.    This carpet cleaner is a neighbor of Bart's and SO nice.

This afternoon, the Lawton Celtic Club met at the Center for Creative Living.  There were four of us and we had a great time discussing James Joyce and Bloomsday.

Home again, I had to take Nicky to the Vet today as he is having his dental work done tomorrow.   Poor Baby.   He looked so scared.  Funny fact -- My neighbor's across the street have their dog boarded there this week as they are 0n vacation.  Perhaps Nicky and Mustang will not feel so neglected?

It will seem odd not to have a warm puppy in the bed with me tonight:(

Today was a stellar day.

Bart picked me up this morning at about 8AM and we drove to Geronimo to pick up our girls, Adria and Abbie.   Dropped them off for their swimming practice and Bart and I did several errands.   Then picked up the girls and went to Mc Donalds for lunch.   I enjoyed Mc Donald's for lunch.  Especially the company, of course, but no matter what you say.  Mc Donalds TASTES GOOD.

We then went to the Lawton Library for a program on Extreme Animals.   We go to hear about and touch animals from the four corners of the earth.  Some endangered, some not.   Some fuzzy, some not:)   I love the little river otter.   It was wonderful.   What a spectacular opportunity for all of us.  AND FREE.

(I got to pet an albino python:))

I like hanging out with these people.

As I look at weather around the nation,  I am beginning to think that Oklahoma is not that hot after all:)    I am seeing high 80s and low 90s here but much higher in the north.  They are also experiencing tornado warnings and other bad stuff.

I got to be home ALL day today.   My cleaning lady came this morning.  I took care a getting a lot of appointments established while she was here.

Tomorrow I will spend with Bart and my great granddaughters Adria and Abbie.  That will be fun.  Busy but fun.  They are adorable girls and I enjoy spending time with them.  Abbie is illustrating my children's book:)

Thursday, I will be having MRI done on my knees.  Sure hope they find something they can do for the pain.   I have all these plans and ideas and NO energy.

The Lawton Celtic Club meets on Thursday afternoon too.  So I will have a 5 star day.

So take care of YOU.   Love you all
