Thursday.   A typical no appointment Thursday.   So, I came home at 9AM and except for going to clean litter box and let puppies out, worked on things around here.

There was a storm last night.  It didn't cause any difficulty in northwest Lawton, where Bart and Barb and I live, but in Geronimo, where Adam and Lexie (Barb's son and daughter in law and the parents of Adria and Abbie) there was HAIL.   Large and awful hail.   It even broke a window in the house.   The girls are with Bart and Barb in California, and (Thank God) Adam and Lexie are OK but what a scare.

I am heading back over to to Bart and Barb's soon.   They are leaving California tomorrow and plan on being home late on Sunday, so two more nights after tonight.    Poor Nicky is so confused and will be confused all over again when they come home.     I think he will be relieved.

I gave him a bath today and made an appointment with a veterinary clinic for his heartworm test.   Time to find him his doctor.

That is the day.    So far, I feel like I am in a protected part of Oklahoma and of Lawton as far as weather.   Hope it will stay that way.

Found the writer's club last night, there were only three other people there, but I guess it fluctuates.  Not a big club but they are very nice and dedicated amateurs like me.

Another hot day.   Bible Study this morning.   Tomorrow will be totally meeting free.  I am working on a wall hanging of St. David of Wales.   Intend to do a lot tomorrow.

It is in the mid to high 90s here today.   My thermometer on the ADT screen says 100Degrees but I know that does seem to run high.   I am tucked in my little house and doing fine.

Tonight I will be going to my first writer's club meeting here in Lawton at Cameron College.    I am rather excited.   I got the information for a contact person from the Lawton Public Library.   Thank the Lord for libraries.

Happy Mother's Day to any of my readers who are mothers.   I am lonely without my Mom but she is happy with our Dad in Heaven.

I went to Mass this morning and then spent some time with Bart and Barb's Critters.   I am taking care of them you know.

I will be heading back there in a bit to let them out and be with them.   Nicky is VERY confused.
