A whole day at home.  I think I am on the mend, though I am still weak as a dog.   Excuse me, Nicky.   Actually,  what kind of expression is that?   It isn't an expression.  The saying is "sick as a dog".   which doesn't make any sense either.

My house cleaner came late this morning so my house is clean again.   Not that it was THAT dirty, but I was really not picking up like I usually do, frankly.

I am plugging away at assembling one of the quilt tops I have ready to go.   A little every day makes me feel like less of a slug.    I am getting excited about the new wallhanging of St. David.   I may have to go to a fabric store to find the fabrics I need.   Oh darn:)

Tomorrow is Sunday and Mass.  I should be able to go and really participate.   I want to pick up my books for the new bible study that starts in two weeks.

We had a nice little thunder storm roll though a little bit ago.   I guess this is the order of the next couple of days.   They predict showers through Tuesday.  Nick will find me somewhat of a wet blanket as far as walks if this is so.

Until tomorrow

We still have not gotten the rain they are predicting, but between now and Monday morning we are supposed to get 3-6 inches with potential for flooding.   I am apparently not in a flood area and will cling to that idea.  Today was sunny and in the low 70s so quite wonderful.

It was actually foggy when I went out with Nicky this morning, but that cleared up quickly.

The antibiotics that have been prescribed, I believe are helping.   I am still congested and coughing but I am feeling somewhat better and slept much better last night.

I was home most of the day and glad of it.   Bart picked up some fresh milk for me and we had a visit when he stopped by.

Until I am healed, I am afraid that the blogs will be even more mundane that usual, but I will still keep you posted  on things.   Perhaps, I will feel alert enough to figure out how to post pictures again.

One never knows.

Love you all

I went to mass this morning at Holy Family and touched base with the Bible Study lady, Mary Beth.  As they are still on their old study and will start Psalms in probably two weeks, I opted to come home.   I could have stayed when Father and the attendees transferred the Sacrament to the Chapel to be on display.  But as Mary Beth pointed out, incense and they use a lot on that transfer ceremony, would have truly wiped me out.

The rest of the day was quiet.   I worked a bit on a quilt and thought about fabrics for my next wall hanging.   I am going to do St. David of Wales AKA Dewi Sant.    I am slowly finding my muse.   Now if my body would heal.

Dr. Toy put my bones back together again.   He commented that rain is not good for me.   I am sure that the dry summer weather will be good for that.

Talked to Bobbie.  They are fine.  She is picking up my poems from the Art Show for me.
Bart stopped by on his way home from the grocery store for a visit.     He is going to be "nagging" me about getting these allergies under control

Right now, I am going to take a bath in the whirlpool.   It just sounds good tonight

I think I have felt icky long enough.   This morning my whole body ached again.   I took several naps and my meds and hope that by tomorrow there will be some break in this thing.

I see Dr. Toy, the chiropractor, in the afternoon.   I am sure I need adjusting.   Perhaps he will have some suggestions for relief.   Otherwise, I am going back to the doctor.   Nobody should be so miserable from allergies.

Bart and Barb invited me over for supper tonight.   Barb made her famous potato leek soup.   They had the current missionaries from their church over for dinner.   The congregation feed them.    Four very nice young people.
