A day at home AGAIN!    But it was OK.    I got a couple of phone calls.

One from my friend, Peg Payne, from Cascade.    Peg is such a pleasure to talk to - always full of joy and wisdom.    While we were talking, a storm rolled in and we got RAIN here in Lawton.   A nice rain which we have needed so badly.    The temperature is down to 77 degrees and it is still sprinkling.   My lawn is singing with joy.    Only had one kitty show up for supper tonight.    His friend is probably somewhere sheltered and the one who showed up will be really fat tomorrow.    They don't feel the need to share or save anything.

Jeff called too.    He wanted to quickly update me on the Deeley/Cool picnic that was yesterday in the park in Falls.    It was great and I wish I could have been there.    Uncle Jim,  Diana Cool's dad and my Dad's brother and I always got along well.    He was a charming Deeley and a vary smart man.   Diana was there with her children, Jay and Christopher and their families.    Doug and Caroline Deeley (Diana;s half brother and his wife)and my sisters Eileen with Fred and Dolores with Ken and Randy came too.   Family is special.

So the end of a perfect Saturday.    I always like voices in the day.     It just gets too quiet around her.   Nicky never has much to say except "walk me" or "feed me".

I stayed home today.     Good thing.   It was over 100 degrees and not fit for man nor beast ourthere.

I had a couple of people call me which broke up the day.    My Jim and his Michelle called just to talk.   They sounded so good.    I miss everybody.

Nora called too and we had a good visit.

I see the doctor tomorrow AGAIN about this sunburn or whatever it is.   Sure hope they can come up with something to get rid of it and the itching.

Hot and humid here in Lawton.   It is still 102 degrees and humid.    One would hope for some rail with all that humidity but NO!!!!

I filled my gas tank and did my grocery shopping this morning.   Spent the rest of the day at home.   I was supposed to help Bart get his cat, Kitch, to the vet but he caught him easily so did it himself.   Kitch is in fine shape, just old.    He is 15 years old.    Pretty old for a cat but he should have several more years as well as he is cared for.

Tomorrow I am home all day.   I think I will not even shower:)

Just got home from Writer's Club.   I read my chapter about St. David.      Have to go through it again but they liked it.

Tomorrow will be a busy day as I am going on some errands with Bart. I also need to go grocery shopping and get my lottery ticket.

Boy, did we have a thunderstorm last night.      (No tornado or anything, just a thunderstorm.)   Lightening, booming thunder and rain.     We have really needed the rain, I hope it helped as we are looking forward to a week of dry triple digit days now.

Didn't have anything outside of the house today.     So worked on the book a bit, just a bit, I still haven't much energy.    Oh well, that will come in time.

Tomorrow is election day in Oklahoma.     I will be voting, as little as I know about the candidates.    They are voting on the medicinal marijuana law too.   Hope that passes.
