It is still hot here.   My thermometer shows 100 degrees and that does not factor in the heat index.

I am blessed with a nice air conditioned home and the fact that I do not have to go to work every day.   I can stay in this home.  

Nicky ate both his meals today so we are back on his insulin.     You wouldn't believe what I do to make his food "attractive".    Heating, cooking special eggs.  etc.     He will be so spoiled soon.

Today was a very distressing and invigorating day.

My Nicky is not eating at all.    If he doesn't eat breakfast tomorrow I have to bring him back to the vet.   I can't give him his insulin if he doesn't eat.

The good event was the monthly Celtic group meeting.  We discussed Irish traditions and legends somewhat.    Everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves.   We met at the Olive Garden and there were 8 of us there.    A good turnout for our group.

Tomorrow will be Nicky.

Another hot day, though my thermometer did not go over 100 , a far cry from the 104 of yesterday.

Nicky is improving but still weak and fussy.    He much prefers "people food" to dog food and I have been scrambling an egg for him every morning.    Spoiled little brat, but he is still not well, and I will continue to entice him with whatever works.

I, too, am feeling better.   I actually have an idea for a wall hanging and am working on it a bit at a time.

I am working on my book in progress too.

So we are doing better here in Oklahoma, at least at the Kunert household:)

I was home all day today.    What a relief after the past couple weeks.   Nicky seems to be going OK but I wish I would see a bit more pep.

I am actually working on my book and on some quilting so I MUST be feeling better.  I know I am not so foggy as I was.

I just got home from Writer's Club.      We have a new young lady joining us.     A Poet.     Had good readings tonight.

Had a friend stop by this morning and Bart stopped by this afternoon so I had "voices in the house" and am a happy person.

Nicky saw the vet this morning.   He has a ways to go but is doing much better on his tests.   I can see that too in his general demeaner.

I went to the drug store, the grocery store and Walmart today and got a lot done around the house.   I AM feeling better but as Nicky, I have a ways to go.

It was another day in the mid 90s.    We better enjoy these as starting Tuesday they are predicting 100 and humid for about 5 days.

Went to the 8:30 AM Mass and then had coffee etc with my church friends.

Bart and Barb had Marlies and I over to their house for pizza tonight.    Nice to eat with other people:)   

Nicky is slowly getting stronger and happier.    He and I have a quiet week coming up.
