It has been warm, heat index some days 100 or more.

Scott left yesterday morning.    Sure glad I got to see him and that he is in our lives.  I got my hair cut yesterday too.    Every six weeks whether I need it or not.

Today I have been home all day.    Good thing.   I have been SO tired and took two naps.   Bart and Barb have invited me over for dinner and for Bart to set up a fitbit which he has decided that I need.   I am so glad.   When I am with people, I can work through the tired and the pain. 

I am ready to start a new quilting project.    Got the fabric and the design is in my head.   Lots of work yet.   You won't see it until Christmas anyway.  But I am glad to be excited about something. 

I need a writing project too.    Aside from trying to tie up and get a publisher for the saints book.   

Oh Well   these things will come.

Bart's friend Scott is still here.   I am SO glad.   He has been good for Bart's healing.   He has to leave tomorrow but we have been blessed to have him her.   He and Bart have been friends since they were 7 or 8 years old.

He is doing well, but still has a lot of adjusting and healing to do.   Things are falling into place .  Time and patience are the best healers now.   Prayer too.

A busy day, Pleasant temps and a little rain while I was at Mass this morning.

I went to the 9AM Mass as Bible Study starts at 10:00 to 10:30 as we gather.   It seems to ligical to come that hour early and spend it with Jesus.

I did some grocery shopping and got the Powerball ticket on the way home.   I have been so exhausted that I ate a light lunch and then slept.

Bart called this afternoon, which did help to perk me up.   I miss my sweetheart.   We had such a good thing going.   We didn't even have to say much.  Companionship.

The rest of the day was quiet.   I always make a list of things to be done each day and got everything done   EXCEPT that my orthepedic doctor did not return my call.   I am still trying to figure out Oklahoma health care and can tell you that I wish I was still in Wisconsin for that.

Bart is home.   A day earlier than he expected.   We are glad.   This is the beginning, of course, but we have tools to work with.

Just got back from Writer's Club.   Am sore and tired, so going directly to bed without stopping at go.

Barb and I saw Bart yesterday.   He is supposed to be coming home on Wednesday and this does seem practical.   He is much better and we are all zeroing on on a plan to keep him on track.

Barb and I did a bit of fabric shopping as we got to the area way to early and needed to "waste time".  (Fabric shopping is never a waste of time.)    I found my cow fabric (Bill Smith perk up).   And won a couple of patterns as it turned out that we stumbled on a June Shop Hop.   Yee HAA

Barb and I need some perks.   Seeing Bart was the big one.  He is SO much better.   Now we will have to see how the aftercare plan goes.   I guess this is where I am supposed to be as this where I am needed most right now.
