What a great day.

I talked to lots of people that I love.

Bill Smith called this morning and we had the nicest visit with Leslie in the background.   They are Considering coming for Thanksgiving again.    We sure hope so.

Then I called Richard and Brenda this afternoon.   They survived the rain with  a flooded basement.   Could have been worse.   They didn't lose anything and are working on drying it out and figuring out how to avoid this  again if the rains come again.

So I feel good tonight.   My nephew and his family in Hawaii are fine too.

Only left the house once today.    That was to get the mail.   It was 204 on my thermometer.    Sure glad that I did not need to be out in it.

I spent the morning doing household things then lazed around this afternoon.

We got a bit of rain during the night again.    I know we are still in drought situation but these little bits are helping my lawn.   Of course, that means I will have to pay to get it mowed:)    That's OK too.   Dan and Han are a pleasure to have work for me.

Bart stopped by today as he did errands.    Always glad when he does.    As I told him.    A voice in the house is such a welcome sound.    Nicky doesn't say much:)

I was home all day except for a quick trip to pick up a prescription.    My rash is finally showing real healing.   I needed more salve to put on it.   Soon I will be normal again.    I hope!

The weekend is looking very quiet.   I may go to see the balloons with Bart and Barb.   If I slather with sunscreen and cover up and perhaps bring an umbrella I can keep from breaking out again.   I hope.   I hate to miss all the good stuff.

Went grocery shopping this morning.     I walked the whole store, trying to get a bit of exercise in.   Not walking Nicky is making me soft.     I have to figure that out.  He is getting a bit putgy too.

Bart came by this afternoon to visit.    A welcome break in the day.    I love having a voice in the house and someone to talk to.
