An odd day weather wise.   Warm but cloudy.

I had my port checked today and all is well.   Picked up a few things at Walgreens.   They will let you buy things through their drive in.    Bart doesn't let me interact with anybody.    He is right.   So far I am doing just fine.    HOpe the same is for you all.

Love you and prayers go out every day.

It is a beautiful sunny day.   My thermometer says 82 degrees.     Vita and I took two walks today and really enjoyed them.      I am staying away from people.

One of my neighbors informed me that his wife is in the hospital with the virus.   Don't worry we were a full car lane and a sidewalk separated.    Only that close because I had trouble hearing him.     Pray for my friends.   I wondered why all three cars were home all week.    Thought maybe they were working from home.

Not encouraging.    We had not had positive tests in Lawton before I heard about this.

The news seems to have stagnated.   You hear of one good thing and two bad happen.

Praying for all of you and I am staying home.

We are having warm, dry days.    Nice for walks as I am trapped in this house as far as communication with real live people.      I realize that this is the best strategy at this time, but it is hard.    You, who know me, know what a social person I am.   That's why I get involved with things like bible study, writing club, Irish groups and quilting.

Oh.   Well   This too shall  pass.   I am praying for all of you that you do not succumb to this awful virus.      I am reminded of the polio epidemic in the early 50s.     A neighbor's daughter got it and died in an iron lung in Milwaukee.    My sister, Nora, was babysitting when the fever hit the girl.    My poor Mother was in a state of panic with all of her children.    Nora had to get gamma globulin shots and was she ever upset.

That too passed and thank God for the Salk vaccine.

A foggy morning followed by a rather pleasant day weatherwise.    Vit a and I had two really nice walks.

Kept reasonably busy today but I do miss people.

A strange lonely Sunday.      At least I was able to watch Fr. Phil say Mass on YouTube.   Wasn' the same but at least I just didn't read the Mass.    Missed my communion SO much.

That meant that 2 hours that I would have spent at Church had to be filled and I am running out of Sunday things to do.   One would think the day makes no difference, but it does.   I have started reading a book that I had around, Knots and Crosses by Ian Rankin.   Quite a fun book. I am finally getting back into reading.

Have a good week.   Mine will be same old, same old for a bit.    I do see Dr. Toy, my chiropractor, tomorrow.
