Hi World.

I feel like I am the hind side of winter.   One MORE day over 100Degrees as opposed to winter in Wisconsin One more day below zero.

Oh Well.   I am a grown up, made the decision to mover here.   And am really glad that I did.

I was home all day today.   I am glad of that.   I have a lovely little home and Nicky and I were glad to enjoy it.   The only people I saw were Nate and Mary who came to clean my house.   I don't vacuum, you know.  My sweetheart, Dick, would have a fit if I tried.     They are good people and it is nice to have humans in the house.   Nicky tries but he is rather one note:)

He is getting so relaxed in his back yard.   I am happy for him

I received a picture of Leslie's daughter, Courtney's sons, Cooper, Troy and Toby.  They are so handsome.  I would say beautiful but boys get kind of funny about that.   I put it on the Fridge.   I am missing a couple of kids but can only post what I receive.  This Grandma is grateful for all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

I guess I might as well get used to HOT.   It is Oklahoma after all.    I have experienced heat before, you know.   We used to go out jeeping in the deserts of our southwest in one of my previous lives.   The thing is  - I could come home and get away from the heat:)

It will be OK.  I will adjust.  I have adjusted many times in my life and this is no different.  Right?

A comparatively quite day.  Bart and I ran a couple of errands.  I paid bills and did a bit of crafting.

Talked to Bret.  He is back to work and feeling quite well.

Went to Oklahoma City  (or the city as they refer to it in Lawton) with Bart and Barb.   They had to pick up some medical documentation and to to the VA for Bart's eye exam.   We took the girls, Adam's daughters, Adria and Abie along.

So when Bart and Barb were occupied, the girls and I hung out.   We had a good time.  They are really fun and I hope they think of me as a grandma.

The heat continues

I have had a good day.   This morning, as our priest is on vacation, I went to a Communion Service before the Bible Study.   Actually we are doing a study of a book called When You Suffer, by Jeff Cavins.   He associates suffering to the bible.  It is quite interesting but today was emotionally hard for me.

It was good, however, to have the prayer and emotional support from my fellow studiers.   I guess studiers is not a word, but it should be.

Bart is doing much better. Our prayers are working.  Don't stop though.  We still need them.

Not much change.    Bart will see another doctor in the morning.    He IS much better but that blasted lithium is still messing with him.

Hot - and will be for at least another week.

On the bright side.   I have assembled and started quilting one of my UFOS.   It is a nice bright quilt that I intend to put on MY bed.

Keep the prayers coming.   We are all so tired.

A rich person is not the one who has the most - but the one who needs the least.

Found on one of the many "inspirational" emails that I receive daily.   Have heard it before but thought it worth expressing.

Another hot hot day.

Bart is home, as I told you.   Still very fragile.   I took some pie over to them this evening and just got home.   Am going right to bed.

Tomorrow hopefully, he will have slept some and feel more like himself.

One day at a time.   Tomorrow he will see his family doctor who perhaps can coordinate things.

Things are looking up.

Bret is home and their move is going well.    I know that Janet and Tony are not letting him overdue and his voice sounds strong and healthy.

Barbara brought Bart home today also.  One always heals better at home.  They got home just a bit ago and now Bart has to face the animals, especially Kitch, his cat, who is not going to be quiet about being neglected:)

Thanks for the prayers and good love.  There is a lot of healing ahead.
