A day at home AGAIN!    But it was OK.    I got a couple of phone calls.

One from my friend, Peg Payne, from Cascade.    Peg is such a pleasure to talk to - always full of joy and wisdom.    While we were talking, a storm rolled in and we got RAIN here in Lawton.   A nice rain which we have needed so badly.    The temperature is down to 77 degrees and it is still sprinkling.   My lawn is singing with joy.    Only had one kitty show up for supper tonight.    His friend is probably somewhere sheltered and the one who showed up will be really fat tomorrow.    They don't feel the need to share or save anything.

Jeff called too.    He wanted to quickly update me on the Deeley/Cool picnic that was yesterday in the park in Falls.    It was great and I wish I could have been there.    Uncle Jim,  Diana Cool's dad and my Dad's brother and I always got along well.    He was a charming Deeley and a vary smart man.   Diana was there with her children, Jay and Christopher and their families.    Doug and Caroline Deeley (Diana;s half brother and his wife)and my sisters Eileen with Fred and Dolores with Ken and Randy came too.   Family is special.

So the end of a perfect Saturday.    I always like voices in the day.     It just gets too quiet around her.   Nicky never has much to say except "walk me" or "feed me".
