An exciting and busy day.   We started off normally.   Chelsea got me up the second time at about 6AM so I fed the cat and took her for a walk.   She seemed to be following rather than leading so we headed back pretty quickly.  After I fed her, I took my shower and started some wash.  Then Dick got up.  So we had breakfast, I helped him get cleaned up and we headed to Sheboygan to see Dr. Moreno, the wound specialist.   Dorothy and Brian, the nurses, were very glad to see us.   We probably wont see them again unless new wounds appear, as Dr. Moreno is very pleased with his leg and has discharged him.  Whew.

We got home in time for lunch.   Then we both decided to rest.   As I was resting we received a call back from Dick's eye doctor.  His eye is still red and rather sensitive.   For the next few days, we will have him put warm compresses on it and then put the ointment in it.    Hopefully that will clear up the last of the problem.

When I woke up, I did some more wash and made a Chicken Waldorf Salad.  Then I just waited for my Bret to come.  At a bit after 3PM I went outside and waited on the porch.   Sure enough, that did it.  He is here and looks wonderful.   We have been visiting.  We sat out on the deck for about an hour and sipped some wine and beer and ate some cheese and crackers before dinner.

Bart and Barb called at about 5PM.  They are just south of Springfield and may or may not make it tonight.  Otherwise, they will be in rather early tomorrow morning.   This is so cool.

I am so blessed and happy to be having both of them and Barb here all to onest.   Isn't it great.  Tomorrow is picture time and we will go to see Grandma Deeley for a bit.

Love you all and God loves you too

Mary
