It was a perfect Easter. I got up at 6AM so I could go to the 8AM Mass. That way I had all day. The Easter Bunny came, of course, and filled Easter Baskets for Dick and me.

I spent the morning getting things ready for our dinner. Everybody got here at 2PM. Bobbie and I shared some finished quilting projects and we visited and ate appetizers. We had deviled eggs, cheese and crackers and stuffed celery.

Jim and Michelle and Bobbie and Bill went to the Bucks game last night. Michelle's boss had four tickets he wasn't using. They apparently had a wonderful time AND the Bucks won. It is always SO exciting when the home team wins. They now know what happens while the people at home are watching the commercials. They said the goings on are a lot more fun than the commercials.

We had ham, colcannon, corn and stuffed mushrooms for dinner. It all turned out well and everybody liked the little Easter baskets that the Easter Bunny left for them with an egg with their name on so they knew where to sit.

Jim will be having some minor surgery on his nasal passages on April 1st. The C PAP machine is not really helping his sleep apnea. They seem to be awake more trying to adjust the machine than sleeping and he is a candidate for the surgery. We must be sure to have him on prayer lists on that day and for a week or so. It is, he has been told, a painful surgery so he will be very uncomfortable.

Tomorrow, I will go to bible study then visit Mother. She goes to Eileen's on Easter and I know that she always has a good time. John and Holly were coming from Chicago and she was hoping to see Margaret and Gwen too.

That is all the excitement.

Happy Easter

Mary
