Another therapy session at Aurora. The new building is really nice, but Dick is sure uncomfortable on their tables. But the massage and sequential compression therapy are helping. His legs are still losing circumferance and as long as they do not stabalize we will continue with the treatments as is. Then there will be thigh high stockings prescribed and fitted.

When we finished that we went right to Sheboygan to Mark Miller's office to pick up our taxes. We had requested an extension because a couple of our documents had not arrived. Now that is done. Next year should be MUCH easier because we won't have all the stock transactions, sales and purchases that we had last year. They are sold and invested in this condo.

On our way home, we dropped some items that I had purchased for Mother at her house. She was not home, having gone to the Senior meals with Lucy Carderelle today. We had lunch at the Park View Restaurant across form River Park in Falls. I had a great tuna sandwich.

When we got home we were both tired. I tried to rest but could not sleep so got to work. I had a couple of articles and letters to write and a phone call or too. Then we vacuumed the living room and racked some wine. So, tired or not we did get a lot done.

After dinner, Dick said that he thought he would like to go outside for a bit because it is so nice out there tonight. So, we hooked up Chelsea and took a little walk. Chelsea was delighted. She pranced along quite gleefully. At least she didn't act like Zero used to when we both took HIM for a walk. He was just fine if only one of us took him, but if we both walked him he would get too excited. Once he started hyperventilating and staggering and gasping for air. Dick told me that if he died, I had to carry the body back home. After that we did not take him for walks together. I was quite alarmed and thought that perhaps I WOULD have to carry a body home.

I have a quote from an email for you today.

It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore I have a very hard time understanding why there is such a problem in having "In God We Trust" on our money and having "God" in the Pledge of Allegiance. Why don't we just tell the 14% to Shut Up, lay down and BE QUIET!!!

Love

Mary
