It was a happy day. I got up at 6:30AM. At about 7:30AM, the Culligan Man came and took care of what he should have done on Wednesday.
Jody, my cleaning lady, came at 8AM. She is looking forward to Christmas this year. This has been a hard year for her, but things are looking up and I am so delighted for her.
I left at about 10AM for my chiropractic appointment with Dr. Holmes. We agree that I seem to have plateaued on his treatments, so he has recommended that I see Dr. Leben, a specialist in Physical Medicine. I am willing to try anything. If SOMETHING could be healed, it would be one spot that doesn't ache. Dr. Holmes says he thinks there is hope.
I stopped at Mom's on my way to Rocky Knoll to bring her some of the turkey quiche that I made. It is always so good to get an extra visit with her. Her tree is decorated and her other Christmas things out. Eileen helped and Jeff did some too. Her house is very festive.
I got to Rocky Knoll just in time to have lunch with Dick. I had decided to buy lunch because they had Seafood Alfredo, which I had before. Except that it could have been a bit hotter - it was very good. Dick and I played some cards this afternoon. Then at 3PM we went to On the Rocks for our Date. I was home via the Bank and Walgreens by 4PM.
It is always nice to be home before dark. I can't believe that Dick will be home in two weeks and in just two more days after that, It will be Christmas. Slowly the house is being decorated, but I don't believe I will get everything out this year. I am running out of time.
So Another week about shot. Tomorrow is the annual Tallgrass Condo Budget meeting. I will be going at 9:15Am to help register people.
I intend to go to bed early again tonight . I just can't seem to get rested.
Dia Dhuit.
Mary
