I was irritated with Culligan today.    When I got home last night, after 6PM, I had a message that they were going to be delivering today.    So I called there at 7AM and talked to a lady who said she would get a message to the scheduler at 8AM when the scheduler came in.   So I went grocery shopping and was home before 8AM

I waited until after 9AM and called Culligan again.  This lady said she had never received a message and that the delivery would be between 8 and noon.   So I called Dick and told him that I could not come to see him today.   Noon, came with no delivery.    So I called again and was told that I would have to reschedule.   I did reschedule for Friday before 10AM.   But It goofed up the whole day especially for Dick.   I was able to just keep doing things here at home until it was time to leave for the Kettle Country Quilt Club Party.  

The party was fun.  I brought the digestive biscuits with cream cheese mixed with jam and fresh fruit for the brunch which was marvelous.    We exchanged gifts and also had door prizes.   I brought home the cutest draft guard for the door.   I will use it on the front because it is easily set in front and looks so cut.   I also won a door prize, a pointsettia.  

I made it home by 3PM so that I would be here when Matt from Home Care Resources came to install the additional grab bars in the bathroom.   I am very pleased and know that Dick will be also when he come home tomorrow for his home evaluation.  I have been wrapping some presents and putting a few ornaments on the tree this afternoon.  I feel rather lazy so am just doing bits of a lot of things and want the house in good order tomorrow for the home eval.

It is starting to get very cold outside now.   Time to remember the little prayer that Mother taught me.  "God be good to anyone, whose sleeping out tonight.   Tuck them in and keep them warm and don't put out the light."
