Here we are at the end of another day.    It was successful.  Dr. Sharon took the stitches out of Dick's arm this morning and says it looks just fine.   The results of the lab tests were just fine.   So we are very relieved.   Then we stopped at Dairy Queen for Burgers and fries to celebrate.

I did some cleaning in Roxie's room today.   Wanted it to be really clean when Bret has to sleep there next week.     He will be here next Thursday afternoon.   Bart and Barb will be very close to that time also so I can hardly wait.

A friend of mine sent me and email showing lots of birds attacking people and it reminded me of a story about Randy.   When he was a little guy, still in diapers,  the family went to a friends house for a gathering.  They had a lot of chickens and a big old rooster took off after Randy, just toddling around and pecked him on his little bottom just below the diaper line.    Mr. Wallner was so mad, he grabbed that rooster and killed him right on the spot and they had him for dinner.

Jeff and Kathy and Tim used to raise chickens for meat for many years.   They were out at Jeff's place.  He and Kathy would feed them and care for them and Tim was in charge of the butchering.   Usually there was one rooster that was very aggressive and would attack Kathy whenever she got in the pens to feed and water them.   They would usually cull the flock for a meal during the year and Jeff and Tim always sent Kathy in the pen to see if she could draw out the mean one but he was too smart for that.  Tim always said that he knew the executioner was there and was on best behavior.

Tomorrow is a busy day so I will be winding down and going to bed right on time.

God love you

Mary
