Today turned out to be much more productive than we thought it would be.

We started out early and dropped off the car at the dealer for maintenance. They gave us a loaner. So. We went to Amber's, formerly Zana's, for breakfast. It really has not changed at all, so we were pleased with our meal. Then we moved on to the DMV where we FINALLY updated our driver's licenses. That place sure has changed. People used to DREAD going there because the employees were so crabby and rude. Now they are friendly and very efficient. They are much more modern too. We got our new licenses, both of them, in less than a half an hour.

Then on to home where we did a bit of computer work and just relaxed until it was time to go BACK to pick up the car. On the way back to Plymouth we stopped at Office Max and picked up some black ink cartridges. (Are you tired yet?)

Next stop, ReMax on Eastern Avenue in downtown Plymouth for their annual Open House. What a spread and I saw a few people that I had not seen in several years. Nice. Then home so Dick could take a nap.

I vacuumed the den downstairs and finished making the stollen using Mom's recipe. It seems OK. They look a bit primitive, but do taste good. I made two without nuts so Jim can have them too.

Tonight I almost finished the Christmas cards. I have three snail mail and a few computer cards to go.

So. It is 20 after 9 and time for this old lady to think about bed. Chelsea has been hinting that she is ready too. She does start bugging me at about this time. She doesn't like to go to bed alone.
