I took Mother to the doctor today for her yearly physical. She came through with flying colors though we do have to get her to the lab for her blood tests. They had neglected to tell her to fast from midnight on.

She got a tetinis shot. The nurse told her that it is good for five years. Mom told her that she hopes that it all gets used up.

Then we picked up Dick and went to the Parkview for lunch together. Always a pleasant experience.

Tonight Bobbie and I had our monthly Rhine Plymouth Field and Stream meeting. Pretty productive actually. There was much less babbling. We have found that these men are pretty good at rehashing items several times. We discuss and vote and then before the meeting is over someone brings the item up again. But tonight they kept it simple.

Wednesday, Turkey season starts for Uncle Ken and me. Tomorrow we are going to stake out our spots. Randy is going out with Ken and me on Wednesday, he didn't get a lisence but is going to help us call and will be there if I get one to help carry. What a guy.

There are two kinds of people in the world, those who come into the room and say "Here I am!" and those who come into the room and say, "Ah, there you are!"

Enjoy the day. We are promised warm weather again by the end of the week.

Love.

Mary
