Monday is coming to an end.   It was a beautiful Monday.   The sun has been shining all day.    There is little breeze and the temperatures are in the upper 60s.    Perfect.   I could live with this kind of weather year round.

Bobbie came at 9AM to be with Dick as she does every Monday.   Bless her soul.   I just love that girl.

There were 5 of us at Bible Study this Morning.  It does not matter whether there are 2 or 10, we always seem to find something to talk about.   Today we got into prayer and how well we do at this thing.     As Psalm 39 says, do we talk or do we listen.    Kind of dilemma as we are by our nature kind of bossy.   It is nice when we get done with all our our requests and petitions if we just sit back for a while and listen.  That can be the most beneficial time of prayer.

Mother was fine today.   I brought her a pasty and a piece of Tommy's saffron cake.  Then we paid her bills. We still had time to visit and I got home before Ashley, the nurse came.

Actually, I got home and fried up some bacon and liver for Bobbie and me for dinner.   I had meatballs and noodles for Dick so he did "permit" the cooking of liver in the house.  Bobbie and I Loved the liver.

Dick's INR was a bit low again, so Ashley or another nurse will be here next Monday and perhaps we will be able to have Nancy come to bathe him this week after all.    I hope so.   Don't know what caused the blip in the INR count.

We are still waiting for catheter supplies.   Ashley reordered and brought us an emergency supply to get us through.

So the day is done.   We enjoyed the story of Oscar Hammerstein II on PBS tonight.    This means we will probably get to bed a bit late, but it was worth it.  How can one person have contributed so much beautiful, unforgettable music?   But thank the Lord he did.

Until tomorrow.
