The tree is undecorated AND in its box for a rest until next year. I also stored away all the Santas and Angels that are too Christmasy until next year too.

I WAS able to stay home most of the day. I did, however, go to Mass tonight. As I am going rabbit hunting, (or as Dick calls it Bunny Killing) tomorrow morning and have to meet the other hunters at Leroy's house at 8:30AM, Mass in the morning becomes impossible. I AM starting to belong at St. John's . Ed Schroeder, who usually goes to Sunday morning Mass, asked what I was doing there Saturday night. I told him that I was going rabbit hunting and he said he would really like to go along, however, HE has a commitment to some breakfast or other which is why HE was there on a Saturday night. Regardless, we all tore ourselves away from the Packer Game to make sure that poor Fr. Van Beeck was not doomed to say mass for himself and puppy.

Even Ceil Gorsky came tonight because she was afraid that Fr. Van Beeck would be alone.


The Packers started off letting Seattle score two touchdowns in the first five minutes on fumbles. They don't call them the heart attack pack for nothing. But they recovered. By the time I got to Mass they were already tied and they WON 42/20. Quite a comeback. That was the snowiest game I have ever seen. They kept having young people run across the field with shovels on the yard lines so the players had some idea where they were aiming. Yippee, Now we have to find out who and where they play next.

I am working on the Clifford Crest and am almost ready to shape it into a shield shape so it can be mounted on a banner. This is fun. The Clifford motto is Always Prepared.
