Special requests for prayer

First:   Good news but it will involve over a month of various surgeries for Bart.    They are finally doing something about the stimulator that he has implanted in his back for pain that has not been working properly.    May 1st, they will remove the whole unit.    On or about May 14, they will be testing and evaluating the best way to proceed.    On May 24th they will implant the trial unit and in early June, he will have the permanent unit implanted.    This is the new Cadillac of stimulators and we are all feeling that this will provide much relief from Bart's constant pain.

Second:   Bad news.   Marlise Burdine, Barbara's mother, had a lump and has been diagnosed with a malignancy.    Please pray for good results.    She is very frightened.   And so are we.
